I remember how fascinated I was with a yo-yo as a kid. I must have been around 5 years old when a real hype broke out in our kindergarten. I got older and the yo-yo disappeared. 40 years later I was reminded of this by my daughter and I had to realize that today’s yo-yos have nothing in common with those of yesterday.

Ambition seized me and I practiced and learned one trick or two. At some point that was no longer enough for me. I will never become a great yo-yo player, but I was addicted to yo-yo again and I wanted more. I really wanted to design a yo-yo and I wanted to create something special. The Frankenstein mk II saw the light of day. A YoYo made of a 7075 aluminum alloy combined with a DLC coating, designed and produced in Germany.

That’s just the beginning.
